It’s 7 years since Michael Jackson died but his memories still live on. Michael died in June 25th 2009. He fell unconscious while lying in bed at his rented mansion at 100 North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills district of Los Angeles.
He inspired people with his music, choreography and fashion. Most of the greatest performers today give credit to him for inspiring them both in music and choreography.
Artists like Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Chris Brown and Justin Timberlake all refer to Michael Jackson as their role model and icon.
The king of pop is undoubtedly one of the greatest performers of all time! Even after his death, his Immortal World Tour sold millions. It’s no surprise he inspires so many with classic stage outfits, although some of these outfits were inspired by the military and James Brown.
Beyoncé
Just Like Michael Jackson, Beyoncé is also a longtime brand ambassador for Pepsi. It’s no surprise that at the super bowl 2016 she wore an outfit inspired by Jackson. Coincidentally both shows were sponsored by the brand. The outfit was an homage to Michael Jackson’s Super Bowl 27 performance. The singer wore the same black and gold colour palate, and even appeared to have the same amo style embellishments across her chest.
She confirmed the speculation and told Extra Tv“It’s the 50th anniversary so I gave love to my favorite performer.”
Chris Brown
Chris has made it known severally that his Music and Choreography Icon is Michael Jackson.The performance was at the 2006 World Music Awards, where he performed thriller.
Although they’ve almost no similarities with fashion, \Chris has done several tributes for Michael Jackson. Including his music video She Ain’t You.
Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake has also referred to Michael Jackson as his idol. In the performance above he sang Michael Jackson’s ‘Human Nature’ during his ‘The 20/20 Experience” tour at Staples Center.
Janet Jackson
Janet Jackson is Michael’s younger sister and the two shared a really special relationship. After his death she paid a major tribute to him with a very touching performance at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Jamie Fox
Jamie Fox hosted BET Awards 2009 and paid a tribute to the King of pop. Wearing the classic thriller red jacket and black pants.
Neyo
Neyo is one of the lovers of Michael Jackson who has worked with the king of pop. He channeled his inner Michael in his performance at Millennium stadium back in 2011
Bruno Mars
If Bruno Mars wasn’t a successful songwriter and singer he would have a fortune from doing Michael Jackson impressions. He has multiple videos of him doing performances dressed as Michael.
