American singer, songwriter and former Fugees star, Lauryn Hill was live on stage in Lagos yesterday, 30th August 2015 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island.
The very much anticipated concert which was initially slated to hold in May saw electric performances from Lauryn Hill and her band, Victoria Kimani, Tekno, Dil and others.
The star-studded show was well attended by A-listers including Dakore & Olumide Akande, Toolz, Zainab Balogun, Banky W, Lamide Akintobi, Victoria Kimani, Zaina, Keturah King, Yvonne Ekwere, Moet Abebe, VJ Adams, Sasha and more.
The show which was supposed to kick off at 7pm was delayed for about four hours as it didn’t start until about 11pm while Lauryn Hill kept fans waiting till about 1:00am wen she finally graced the stage.
However, when she finally showed up, It was worth the long wait as the show was so powerful that Waje couldn’t hold back the tears of Joy.
