Behold The Faces And Voices On Nigeria’s First Women Radio Station (Photos)

 

History was made on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 when WFM 91.1, the first ever radio station for Women in Nigeria and their families, was launched.

The faces and voices of its on-air-personalities were carefully selected from practising media experts who have been on top of the game for years.

The quartet of Abiola Grace, Funmi Jinadu, Bolatito Bez Idakula and Chinedu Faith Nwagha were presented to the media as the leading voices and faces that will hold fort on WFM 91.7 as the station’s core on-air-personalities.

Presenting the young and talented broadcasters at the event which took place inside the cozy environs of Protea Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, Toun Okewale-Sonaiya, stated that the quartet were selected from over 5,000 applicants who showed interest in working for WFM 91.7.
